Modcon gave a presentation at 58th ISA Analysis Division Symposium

The Analysis Division (AD) is indispensable to any process analyzer professional, from technician level to design engineer. The nature of on-line process analytics is such that people spend their entire career in the field and the learning never stops. It is a mix of chemistry, physics, electronics, software, control engineering, sample handling, common sense, perseverance and black magic. The ISA Analysis Division is a collection of approximately 900 professionals, some who trace their career to the origins of process analytics. Every year in April, about 200 of these people gather at the Analysis Division  Symposium. The upcoming symposium in Galveston Texas (April 14-18, 2013) will be the 58th annual.

Modcon Systems Ltd participated jointly with US distributor Cemtrex and gave a presentation "Physical Properties Analysis in Modern Petroleum Industry" on Wednesday 17 April. This paper mainly discusses the challenge to optimize process parameters to produce the required range of distillates at the highest yields, while taking into account the characteristics of the crude oil to be processed to ensure maximum efficiency of the crude distillation unit. More information>>
