Exhibitors and visitors at ACHEMA have not allowed the economic crisis to deter them: two days after the Opening, the organizers of this world chemical engineering summit issued a highly upbeat interim result. Despite the tough business environ-ment, the rush of visitors brought figures up 1 % higher than in 2006 in the first two days, moreover with about 3,800 exhibitors on 134,000 m² the exhibition has main-tained the level of the previous event.

- Process NIR Analyzer is based on use of telecommunication fiber optics and connects up to 15 process stream sensors, deployed anywhere in the plant, to a single main NIR analyzer situated in the control room. The field unit uses no electricity, contains no moving parts and distance to the main analyzer may be up to 3 km!
