Industrial LAN/Modem Router
An additional Ethernet LAN interface is added and provides connection and routing functions between automation devices located on the Machine LAN and a Factory LAN to any automation device on the Machine LAN. The additional WAN uplink is used to expand remote access possibilities by using technologies such as ADSL or connection through customer's LAN. A modem uplink can also be provided in the same box allowing a remote connection using PSTN, ISDN, GPRS or EDGE technology.
