Modcon has supplied MOD-C4000 analyzer for hydrocarbons in water measurement to the Achinsk refinery.
Heat exchanger leak detection is an important standard application for many processors. Our primary concern is to find the leakage itself as well as its location. Companies in all industries increasingly demand the measurement of oil contents in the ppm range. For this purpose, trace oil in water detection provides advanced warning of oil contamination in water or condensate. MOD-C4000 will indicate the leakage of technological product in cooling water on time so it will increase production safety and will enable timely repair of damaged equipment.
The advantages of Modcon analyzer:
- Can be mounted directly onto the process
- Works under high pressure
- Does not require drainage lines
- Easy application
- No need for current maintenance
Achinsk refinery is the only major refinery in the Krasnoyarsk territory and is a key petroleum product supplier to the neighboring regions. The plant was acquired by Rosneft in May 2007. The refinery’s crude distillation capacity equals 7 million M/T per year. Achinsk refinery processes West Siberian crude delivered via the Transneft pipeline system. The plant’s deep conversion facilities include catalytic reforming, jet and diesel fuel hydro treatment, bitumen production, and gas fractioning units. The refinery specializes in the production of motor and jet fuels. Overall, Achinsk Refinery produces more than 100 different grades of petroleum products. The plant’s outputs are primarily distributed in the Krasnoyarsk territory and in the neighboring regions and also some of the petroleum products produced by Achinsk Refinery are being exported.
