Factory acceptance test was successfully performed for turn-key package designed for the South Urtabulak field to expand the capacity of the Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex (GCC). The system includes packaged equipment of fuel and buffer gas treatment units with pilot gas reduction package and gas metering station. The project envisages the processing of valuable raw materials – synthetic naphtha from the GTL (gas-to-liquids) plant under construction nearby – and the development of new types of polyethylene and polypropylene.
