Working in process analysis means dealing with the point where instrumentation, chemistry, automation and plant economics meet. Modcon projects involve real industrial applications in refining, natural gas, petrochemicals, hydrogen production and environmental monitoring, so technical roles often require both engineering depth and an ability to understand the customer’s operating problem.

Our work covers process analyser development, application engineering, sample conditioning, hazardous-area systems, commissioning, technical support, sales engineering and industrial AI. A good engineer in this field does more than select equipment from a catalogue. The job may involve reviewing process conditions, discussing measurement limitations with a customer, supporting a factory acceptance test or helping a plant understand why an analyser behaves differently from a laboratory result.

For commercial and business development roles, technical curiosity is equally important. Industrial customers expect practical answers and clear communication.
