MOD-1040 Oxygen Analyzer – New Internal Design Update
A significant internal design update to our MOD-1040 Oxygen Analyzer — one that brings meaningful improvements in capability, installation flexibility and measurement performance.
These updates reflect direct feedback from the field and our ongoing commitment to delivering instruments that work harder for your process.
Here is what’s new:
📱 Bluetooth Mobile App The MOD-1040 now features a built-in BLE interface, enabling wireless set-up, calibration, and live process monitoring via a dedicated mobile app — fully rated for use in Hazardous environments. No laptop, no RS485 adaptor required in the field.
📥 Analog Inputs — Built-In Process Compensation Two new 4-20 mA analog inputs allow direct connection of gauge pressure and temperature transmitters. The analyzer uses these signals to automatically compensate O₂ readings for process conditions — no PLC required.
⚙️ Internal Auto-Compensation Compensation is now handled inside the MOD-1040 itself. As long as both transmitters are connected, the unit continuously corrects for pressure and temperature variations, delivering accurate O₂ readings without external computation.
🔧 Flexible Calibration Zero and span can be calibrated — via the mobile app or Modbus RTU — making field commissioning and routine maintenance faster and more convenient than ever.
💪 Increased Pressure Rating — 350 Barg The process pressure rating has been raised to 350 Barg, opening the MOD-1040 to a wider range of high-pressure applications with no additional hardware needed.
🔬 Ultra-Low Detection — 1 ppm LDL at ATP A new ultra-low sensing spot option achieves a 1 ppm lower detection limit (LDL) at ATP, making the MOD-1040 suitable for trace oxygen measurement in the most demanding applications.
🔩 Expanded Wetted Parts Options To better support aggressive process environments, the MOD-1040 is now available in a full range of wetted materials:
🔹 SST316 / SST316L (dual rated — standard)
🔹 Nickel 201/200
🔹 Inconel 625
🔹 Hastelloy C276
🔌 Junction Box Mounting Options Both directly mounted and remotely mounted junction box configurations are now available as an option, simplifying cable management and installation in tight or complex installations.
