Modcon Systems Advances Industrial AI Powered by Process Analyzers
Modcon Systems is advancing its industrial AI strategy by combining online process analyzers, oxygen analyzer technology, hydrogen measurement, crude oil analysis and Modcon.AI process optimization software.
Modcon Systems Ltd. is strengthening its position in industrial AI through the continued development of Modcon.AI, a dedicated spin-out initiative focused on AI-enabled process optimization for refineries, hydrogen production, natural gas processing, petrochemical plants and other complex process industries.
The initiative builds on more than 50 years of Modcon experience in process analyzers, online analytical systems, advanced process control and industrial optimization. By combining real-time analyzer data with AI-enabled software, Modcon is developing a new generation of solutions designed to help industrial operators improve safety, process stability, product quality and energy efficiency.
A central part of this strategy is the connection between reliable field measurement and intelligent decision support. Industrial AI depends on accurate, continuous and process-relevant data. Modcon’s online analyzers provide this measurement foundation across gas and liquid applications, including oxygen monitoring, hydrogen analysis, crude oil quality measurement and hydrocarbon process optimization.
The MOD-1040 Oxygen Analyzer supports real-time in-situ oxygen measurement for high-pressure hydrogen, natural gas and critical process gas applications. The MOD-1060 Hydrogen Analyzer provides continuous hydrogen measurement for process gas monitoring and hydrogen-related industrial applications. For refinery applications, Modcon’s MOD-4100 Crude Oil Analyser and MOD-4100-S Salt in Crude Oil Analyser support online crude oil analysis, crude quality monitoring and refinery optimization.
Through Modcon.AI, these analyzer technologies can become part of a broader AI-enabled process optimization environment. The platform is being developed to support process health analysis, predictive insights, operator decision support, energy conservation and improved process performance.
In hydrogen production and gas processing, real-time oxygen and hydrogen measurement can support safety, purity control and stable operation. In crude oil refining, online crude oil analyzer data can support crude switching, product quality control, desalter monitoring, CDU optimization and improved energy efficiency. In petrochemical and natural gas applications, continuous process analyzer data can help operators move from traditional monitoring toward more predictive and adaptive operation.
