Successful FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) for Two MOD-1040 Oxygen Analyzer Systems
The Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) of two MOD-1040 oxygen analyzer systems for the KAMINHO FPSO project in Angola was successfully completed at Modcon Systems Ltd.’s Cambridge facility.
The MOD-1040 High-Pressure Oxygen Analyzer is a next-generation industrial oxygen analyzer designed for continuous, real-time oxygen measurement in hydrogen, oxygen, and process gas applications operating under the most demanding conditions. The analyzer performs true in-situ oxygen measurement without sample extraction, conditioning systems, pumps, filters, or transport lines, providing immediate process visibility and superior measurement reliability.
The MOD-1040 measures oxygen concentrations from 1 ppm to 100% O₂ on a single platform, operates at process pressures up to 350 barg (5,076 psi), delivers T90 response times below 5 seconds, and is certified for ATEX and IECEx Zone 1 hazardous area installations and SIL 2 safety applications. UL, cUL, and Class I Division 2 approvals are currently pending, making the analyzer suitable for global deployment across hydrogen, industrial gas, petrochemical, natural gas, biogas, and energy infrastructure projects.
