Modcon has designed, manufactured and supplied the smart MOD-5000 analyser house for Achinsk refinery in Russia.
Such an analyser house is to set the DCS control system in the hazardous area.
This shelter is designed to be installed at the open refinery area and has climate control system, LEL detectors, fire detectors and is completely independent computerized system which is cancelling hazardous effects of the area, allowing to set non explosion-proof equipment inside it. This will ensure personnel safety and safe operation of equipment and can also work at up to -600C.
This shelter has received a certificate of protection (EX) in accordance with the technical rules of the customs union “on the safety equipment for use in potentially explosive atmospheres”.
